Technology is one of the most powerful forces shaping the future of humanity. However, I strongly believe that the true value of technology should not be measured only by its scientific sophistication or economic impact, but by its ability to improve human life, create opportunities, protect our planet, and build a more inclusive and sustainable future.

As Rector of the Technofest Institute of Technology, my vision is to contribute to a world in which science, technology, innovation, and education are accessible to all. Our mission is not simply to develop new technologies, but to transform knowledge and innovation into practical solutions for the challenges facing humanity.

We are living in an era of extraordinary technological transformation. Artificial Intelligence, advanced engineering, food technologies, biotechnology, sustainable energy, environmental technologies, digital transformation, and emerging intelligent systems are redefining the way we live, work, produce, and communicate. Europe has an important responsibility in shaping this transformation based on innovation, ethics, sustainability, human dignity, and social responsibility.

Our Institute seeks to be an active part of this global transformation by supporting research, encouraging entrepreneurship, connecting researchers and innovators, and creating international partnerships between academia, industry, governments, and technology communities.

A particular priority of my vision is the development and internationalization of food and agricultural technologies. Ensuring access to safe, healthy, sustainable, and affordable food is one of the greatest challenges of our time. Through research and technological innovation, we can contribute to reducing food waste, improving food preservation, increasing agricultural efficiency, developing sustainable production systems, and supporting food security around the world.

At the same time, I believe that technological progress must not create a wider gap between those who have access to advanced technologies and those who do not. Innovation should be a bridge, not a barrier.

For this reason, one of our long-term goals is to expand our activities internationally, particularly in Africa and developing regions, where many communities face significant challenges in accessing modern technologies, education, healthcare, sustainable energy, clean water, agricultural solutions, and advanced infrastructure.

We aspire to develop partnerships and mechanisms through which appropriate technologies can reach communities and people who may not have sufficient financial resources to access them through conventional markets. Our goal is to promote affordable, practical, sustainable, and locally adaptable technologies that can create real social and economic impact.

This vision is closely aligned with the principles of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to quality education, zero hunger, good health and well-being, clean water, affordable and clean energy, industry and innovation, reduced inequalities, responsible consumption and production, climate action, and global partnerships.

I believe that universities and technology institutes should not exist only within classrooms and laboratories. They must engage with society, respond to real-world challenges, and help turn scientific knowledge into solutions that make a measurable difference in people's lives.

At Technofest Institute of Technology, we therefore seek to build a global ecosystem of knowledge, innovation, technology, and human cooperation—one that connects Europe with other regions of the world and creates opportunities for researchers, students, entrepreneurs, inventors, and communities.

My vision for the coming years is clear:

To expand the reach of technology.
To empower people through knowledge.
To support responsible innovation.
To connect science with real-world needs.
And ultimately, to use technology as a force for the benefit of humanity.

I believe the future belongs not only to those who invent the next technology, but to those who have the vision and responsibility to ensure that its benefits reach as many people as possible.

Together, we can make technology more accessible, innovation more meaningful, and the future more sustainable for humanity.
